I am unable to suppress flash on my Fujifilm s9100 in any mode that supports flash. Even with the flash down it still fires except in Landscape scene mode and Super Macro mode. I do not know where the switch for the flash is located and will likely send it into Fuji for repair, but wanted to check to see if anyone has experienced this problem before I do so.

Mode switch The mode switch will not switch to viewfinder mode which I prefer. Playback mode is OK. Also, indoor pictures have a yellow cast in the background. Is this a matter of changing the ISO setting and will that be a permanent change?

This camera was working fine, was turned off, and then a day later wouldn't work. The LCD screen on back works only if the Mode Switch is in the review mode (or DOWN), and does not light up under the picture taking mode (or UP) position. Also, while the switch is in the UP position, the ON/OFF power indicator button no longer stays lit. It does, however, stay lit in the Mode Switch in the DOWN position. First problem in three years. Nice little camera.

Hi, I have a Sony DSC-W100 cybershot camera that the mode switch has gotten flaky. If you just touch it, it switches modes and if you rapidly change modes back and forth from one end of the control to the other, it may work for a while and then gets flaky again.
