Hi, the flash card card-eject lever spring is broken and wont eject the card. u have to manually push the card in place and pull the card out. the lever stays up until u shut the card slot door.once the card is in place the camera can read the card if images already exist. but...it will not record an image and shows up as blank on the screen after the shutter takes the image? is this the cause of the broken eject lever. thanks.

I have the same problemI think that the reason that the not record the image is that the card slot door is pushing down on the card eject lever and ejecting the card when the door is closedThe only answer I can think of is to shorten the leverdavidh ... I have just bought a Lumix FZ18 camera (July 08). It worked perfectly on all settings at first, but has now developed an apparent fault in which it shows an overexposed image on all settings apart from automatic. When the shutter button is partially depressed, the image in the viewfinder or on the screen shows as normal, but when the shutter is activated it immediately reverts to over-exposed and the resulting image is the same. Can you advise please

I have a FinePix 1400 zoom that has been causing a lot of problems. It has errors often when trying to write an image to the card and sometimes seems to suddenly power off when viewing images. It doesn't appear to be batteries because I've tried fresh ones straight out of the package. I don't think it's the Smart Media card because it does the same thing with 3 different cards of different sizes. Any ideas?

I've had 2 of the 1400s and never had a problem. Sounds like your battery contacts may be the problem. Check to see that they are bright and clean. If necessary clean them with a pencil eraser. ... Fuji FinePix 1400 Zoom Digital Camera

I have tried in low light levels and the images are coming out at all but, poorly. I have experimented in vein with settings. As much as I use the camera I rarely adjust any settings, don't kn

Canon A560 camera problem - the images are overexposed. I checked the exposure setting, AWB, and all other settings and they are all normal. There is an exposure setting where I can set to + or - 2, but setting it to -2 does not help much. Outdoor photos are almost completely white. There is some detail in black objects. Indoor photos are overexposed. Flash pictures seem OK. The picture on the display is OK. I compared some macro photos taken a few weeks ago with macro photos now. The good photo

We use a Nikon D200 to do child portraiture in preschools and day care centers. Our original camera started turning some images blue a couple weeks ago then quit working altogether. I bought a barely used D200 online and went back to work and I am getting images in either magenta or blue. What could cause this?

When shooting indoors with my 300d (base rebel digital),I have been encountering some light metering problems.I use the 430ex as an external flash. While shooting a subject in front of an external light source-(window, etc.), no matter how small of the frame area include the outside light source, the cameras light meter will invaribly expose the entire image based on the outside ambient light, causing the image to be grossly underexposed. Do you have an explanation/solution for this aggrivating

Set the metering mode to Partial Metering. This uses only 9% of the field of view, centered around the middle square in the viewfinder, as the subject area. If you still find it too bright, try changing the exposure compensation a couple of clicks. ... Canon Digital Cameras

"overexposure" The problem arose after I visited a botanical garden and went from cold outside weather to high temperature and humidity conditions. The next day I found that the image through the viewfinder and lens appeared vastly overexposed, nearly all white. If I focused on an object, the exposure would return to normal, but the picture taken was shot through all over with fine white lines, making it indecipherable. The exposure through the lens and viewfinder has now returned to normal, but
