Card Locked have put new batteries in, switched on to take pictures then it comes on screen Card Locked. Removed batteries and card started again, sometimes it works, but mostly I have a repeat performance. Nothing in the book to explain.

Answers :

There is probably a little slide on the side of the card that locks it. Take the card out and slide it back to the unlocked position.
I removed Card as well as batteries, then started again which seems to have worked. I will get a new Card to see if that is what is causing problem.
