PC Mode I have one that for 2 secs maybe, I can see something I could take a picture of.  Problem is that on second 3 the camera screen has switched to saying PC Mode, even though it is most definitely not attached to the computer.  I have tried removing the battery and the cards and putting them back in, and still only get PC Mode.  Someone said something on another board about possibly a reset button, but I don't know if the sony dsc-s50 has one.  Has anybody else had a similar problem, or doe

I have a Moultrie D-40 with problems. It has a bad display. It also will power up, but power off almost immediately. I assume that is a main board problem. Is there a schmatic available? Can one order the parts from Moultrie? Any idea of prices? If not, is there anywhere else one can get parts? I assume someone makes the parts for them. I'm wondering if there is a part number on the circuit boards. I would think the display would be a common item. I already swapped it out so know it's bad. OR, i

Dust Orbs I am having serious problems with "Dust Orbs" appearing in pictures. Mostly indoor pictures. These things are ruining my pictures. Are they caused by the Infrared Beam that the camera uses to focus? Or is something else wrong with my camera? Do ALL digital cameras have this problem with dust? Do DSLR have same problem? How come these dust orbs only appear with Digital Cameras, and not film? I need a digital camera that works indoors. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance....

Display problem Hello, I've had my SD1000 for less than 3 months. Sometimes the display goes black, I can still access the menu options and if I slide the button to review images they will display on the LCD panel. But even if I've just powered it on, the LCD is black, if I take a picture anyway, the picture is also black. Sometimes if I turn on the camera and turn it off again a few times it starts displaying correctly again. Is there a hardware problem with my camera or is this something I sho

Battery Problem My 18-month-old Canon A70 is giving "change the battery pack" message and turning off constantly, even though I have fully charged three different sets of new rechargeable batteries and rotate them as soon as the message comes on. I imagine this is a problem in the camera battery power circuit or something. Never happens when plugged into the co

Battery Problem I have trouble with apparent battery failure due to bad contacts on the slide-out tray thingie that holds the batterys. Jamming it in several times when I change batteries sometimes helps, but often the camera will stop working in the middle of a shoot and indicate the battery is discharged. A quick in-and-out a couple of times of the thingie restores full battery power, but by then I've probably missed my picture. Anyone else have this problem? Other than that (and piss-poor aut

I've only had the camera for about a week.

My Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S600 stopped working. I press the power button and nothing happens. I tried changing batteries, but it shows no sign of life. It was left in the trunk of my car overnight, inside a luggage bag. The temperature was close to freezing, so maybe the cold weather had something to do with the problem. I left it in my closet for about a week, and when I tried to use it, the power would not turn on. Thanks for your time.

Focus Problem I recently took the camera apart to fix the zoom. lens would not come out. Fixed it all good now goes in and out smothly. Now the pics are fuzzy out of focus. has auto focus 2' too infinity. Wiped the lenses off while i was in there with a lens cloth from binoculars. Maybe not well enough and it might have a film on it. Would that make the pics fuzzy or out of focus? Or is there something else?

A small amount of dirt on the lens would just produce some flare and redule overall contrast slightly. It wouldn't produce a grossly out of focus image. Either you misaligned something or you messed up the autofocus system somehow.\015\012\015\012Can ... Fuji FinePix 2650 Digital Camera
