When I fit the radio transmitter module from a set of Jianisi PT-04TM wireless flash slaves to the FZ50 it will no longer select all settings of apeture and speed. With the camera on manual setting the apeture freezes on f4 and the fastest speed available is 1/250. radio transmitter wasn't allowing flash to open fully, as it projected out over flash popup. I tried fitting an extension to mount radio transmitter higher and allow flash to open fully but still the same problem Fitting a normal

Shutter speed I'm trying to work out the mode which gives the shutter speed of 1/1500 I think it's the 'sports' mode but unsure if aperture will also need adjusting Is this right? If not how do I achieve fastest shutter sped? Thanks

On most fuji cameras the programmed shutter speed for the sports or action mode is 1/1600. This is the mode you need to use. You should not have to change the aperature unless you have a problem with the light. This is the most difficult shot to make ... Fuji FinePix S3500 Digital Camera

Horizontal lines in the photo. Photo seems to be overexposed I reset all the camera and change the memory card too. Problem is still there. I tried different shutter speeds but no solution

You have a sticking shutter. The problem is moisture residue building up between the shutter leafs. One way to verify this is to take a video. This should work fine with no problems as it does not use the shutter. This is a common problem and shouldn ... Fuji FinePix S5200 / S5600 Digital Camera

I have a Canon 5D. I find that a lot of my pictures are not pin-sharp. I have adjusted the aperture setting to create less depth of field, and have also increased shutter speed to eliminate the possibility of visible had shake, but still...a lot of soft focus shots. Any suggestions?

Overexposure problem I am using a Canon Rebel and have it set for RAW, 100ISO, and am deliberately Underexposing by 1 stop, but I am still getting Overexposed images. The histogram is weighted to the left. I am using it on P (program), Av (Aperture priority) and Manual modes. I am new to digtal and may be overlooking something obvious - can anyone help point out my or the camera's error?

Incorrect metering I have a Nikon D40x. About every 100 or so frames that i take, there is a problem with the Nikon Metering system. It incorrectly chooses the Aperture and Shutter Speed. Outdoors, it sometimes overexposes pictures. Indoors, it makes them very dark or black. Should i take this in to get it fixed? I have extended warranty...Alas, this is an intermittent problem. Thoughts?

My Vivitar Series 1 24-70 manual focus ais lens won't work on program in my Nikon FA. I bought both new, but have stored them for a long time. Shutter speed I cannot remember the aperture, but when I try to take a picture of the moon with my FZ20, even @ 2.8 aperture, I certainly do not have 1/100s shutter speed, but more like 1/10 or even less (P mode). I wonder if there is a problem with my camera ? How can I check that it is correct ? Can someone with experience of moon shot give me some "standard" shutter/aperture so I can compare ?

Rule of thumb I read was f11 and then 1/ISO for shutter speed. This means that if you're using ISO 100, you use 1/100. ISO 80, then 1/80. White balance set to SUN (because moon is reflecting sunlight).\015\012\015\012Wait! My camera doesn't do f11!!! ... Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20 Digital Camera

External Flash I set my Epson 3100z camera to manual mode and set up the camera for external flash. I manually set the shutter speed to 1/60 sec and the aperture to F4. I also set my SunPak flash to F4. My exposures seem pretty good. However when I review the various photo info's, the aperture reading is F5 or F4.8 not the F4 I set. Why is this? Anyone experienced this? The shutter speed are also not always what I set on the camera.

Pictures a very overexposed. Inside I can shoot without a flash at 400 ISO and they come out right. Outside they turn white. Also the shutter speed won't register. I can set it at 125 or even 500 and it comes out at about 1/30 or 1/60 of a second. Lower shutter speeds are actually lower. This happened a day after I cleaned my sensor. Exposure problem Hi,i'm using EOS 1dMK2 for 5 months now & i've noticed the same problem i've had using D60,1D wich is when i set the camera to top ISO speed & high speed continous shooting almost every second shot is underexposed for 1 stop, stangely this only happens indoor under tungsten or flourescent light.I've also tried to:set custom white ballance, shoot raw ,change lenses, set manual exposure & aperture. Has anyone else noticed this ? P.S. Parameters for both pictures are 1/250sec, f4 ,
