Having problems with your Samsung Digital Cameras ?

I accidentally deleted all of the photos on my samsung D53 camera with a 1GB SD memory card. I was wondering how I could recover them.

First do not panic! It is possible to\015\012recover your pictures if you take care. Take the card from the camera (powered\015\012off) and if it has a "write protect" tab then lock it now. Do not try\015\012and write anything to the card or you risk causing more problems.
\015\012\015\012
\015\012\015\012You can either plug in you camera to the PC\015\012as it should appear as a “Removable\015\012 Drive” or put the card in a card reader attached\015\012to your PC.
\015\012\015\012
\015\012\015\012Next, if you are comfortable with using a\015\012PC then you can download a FREE utility that will recover your photos from the\015\012following link:

\015\012\015\012
\015\012\015\012If you need something a little more\015\012"user friendly" then you will need to buy the software. If you search\015\012the web for photo recovery software you will find many.
\015\012\015\012One I have used successfully is RescuePro\015\012that used to be bundled with some Sandisk products. Now you can get it from the\015\012link below:

\015\012\015\012You can try the demo to see what you can\015\012recover before buying.
\015\012\015\012
\015\012\015\012Remember - Do NOT try & write anything\015\012back to the card until you can recover your pictures to your PC safely!

Questions: 1) is the CF card defective? 2) is E5400 incapable of reading a 4GB CF card, should we use only CF cards <1GB? 3) Will a firmware version upgrade to v1.4 help? 4) Any other reason why this could happen?
