We have a 2005 panasonic mini DV, with 800x, About two years ago we began to have problems playing back the video, the sound was gone and there was blue stripes through the playback video screen, or the screen was a crazy jumble of the image. I just got my Xacti CS1 and after I shot a couple of test videos, I checked the playback. On the camera screen, playback is flawless, it's quite great, however, when I play the videos back on my macbook in quicktime player, the video is choppy. It will skip a couple of frames every second. It just freezes and then all of a sudden it's a completely different frame like the video was cut and spliced together. What's wrong?
