Having problems with your Sanyo Digital Cameras ?
When i turn my camera on it stays on for 1 second then turns off how can i fix it
I suppose the problem is with your battery. try using your friend's battery in your camera. if it works properly, then buy a new one.if you dont find a similar battery from your friend or relative then check the voltage levels between three pins in the battery using a multimeter. when you connect the pins using the two terminals, one combination will show a positive voltage.if it is a lower than the specified level and fast dying then replace the battery.

When I tried to turn the camera back on, the camera came on, but the screen went black. I tried taking the battery out, and put it back in some time later (maybe 30 min.-1 hr.). This did not fix the problem, and I don't know what else to do. How do I fix this?

Switch glitch When i turn on my camera it goes off again within a few seconds (or maybe less). I have to turn it all the way off (slowly) and on again. Sometimes it stays on (at least long enough for a photo) and other times not. Has been getting worse so now the camera is pretty useless. I am presuming that the switch has had it (any other suggestions?) Interestingly while it was under warranty i had switch problems and it was replaced so this is the second switch on the camera. My camera will not stay on. It turns on for about two seconds, the screen says Sanyo then shuts off. Canon A510 Powershot camera will not stay powered on when I turn it on in picture-review mode. It comes on for a second --> Canon screen flashes on -- and then shuts off. In picture-taking mode, it seems to be fine. It stays on. But if I switch to review mode, it turns off. I've changed the batteries. It was fine last time I used it, last week. I left it plugged into the PC for a few days, if that makes any difference.
