Having problems with your Sanyo Digital Cameras ?

I received a Sanyo VPC-S880 digital camera for mothers day of 2008. It has a memory card, but I don't know how much. When I insert the batteries (size AA) *Panasonic alkaline* the batteries wear down before I can set the camera parameters and try to take a few pictures. I have had this problem since the camera was purchased. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or solutions you could give me. I thank you in advance for your timely response. If I need to give you more information, I will do

Last year I bought my mom a digital camera for christmas. It worked great for about 2-3 months. Since then it is speratic, it will turn on let you take a couple of pictures then shuts down all by itsels. If you put freshly charged batteries in the camera it will let you take 4-5 pictures tells you low batteries then shuts down. Is there any way we can return the camera to the company and receive some credit to purchase a new one for my mom? The other question is could we get it fixed?

My Canon A640 is eating batteries! I have tried 2 sets of rechargeable batteries, both 2800mAh. After an overnight charge these will give me 5 or 6 pictures before giving up. I would hate to give up on this camera, it's a great piece of kit but currently it's unusable! I would be grateful for any ideas. Many thanks

I'm going to assume this camera is not new as the first review launch date was in 2006 and updated in 2007. If the rechargeable batteries are two years old my first suspicions would be that the batteries have acquired a short term memory. Contrary to ... Canon PowerShot A640 Digital Camera

Camera flash i generally use my camera on auto mode so i don't have to play around with buttons! however after loaning my camera to my sister for a week my flash is no longer as great as it was!! We have a Kodak 8.2 mega pixel camera that is approximately 1 1/2 years old. I took pictures and then uploaded them onto my computer. Unplugged everything. We purchased a new battery thinking that was the problem and still nothing. When the charger in plugged in there is nothing - no lights at all.

I have had an Pentax Optio S10 auto focus camera for about 3 years and it hasn't missed a beat. But now it will not take photos in flash mode. I have tried the usual settings as per the manual, and noticed a previous posting of the same issue. The response was to recharge the battery, which currently I am doing. The indicator on the camera's LCD however shows the battery to be almost fully charged though. Would this be the same issue? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Graham
