Having problems with your Sanyo VPC-E760 Digital Camera ?

What kind of sd memory card I should buy for a sanyo and could it use a multimedia?

Answers :

Your camera can use an SD memory card up to a maximum capacity of 1GB. It is completely incompatible with later SDHC cards, but will accept the earlier MMC (MultiMedia) card which preceded SD.

1GB SD cards are now getting hard to find in shops, but you can still buy them online quite easily. Stick to major brands, and bear in mind that if the card you choose claims to have any speed advantages over a basic model then your camera is unable to take advantage of those benefits.

You can download a .pdf manual for your camera from Sanyo for free by clicking here.

The card had previously been used to store files from my PC (where it worked perfectly) but the camera could not format it even after I had removed all the files etc by reformatting it in the PC (FAT32). Is there any way I can get to use this flash card in my camera?

Hi. I own a Canon A530 digital camera. I need to buy anew memory card for it. I would like to know if I could use a 4GB SD card for it? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, no. If it's a 4GB card, it is an SDHC card, which uses a different protocol than the 'standard' SD card. The maximum capacity of the SD protocol is 2GB, which is what the A530 is compatible with. (The SDHC protocol came out after the A ... Canon Digital Cameras

I have a canon powershot sx200 IS and I recently went on vacation and took a lot of pictures using teh SD memory card provided with the camera. For some reason, after almost filling the card I received a memory card locked error. I checked the card, it was not locked. I even tried in another camera and same error. So I got a new SD card, took more photos and then all of those photos were erased. I could not find them when reviewing on the camera, another camera, or even with a USB card reader. A

The likely reason this keeps happening is that these cards weren't formatted in the camera when you first got them. However, don't do so just yet as formatting also erases the card. If you are using a memory card, take no more pics until you've reco ... Canon PowerShot SX 200 IS Digital Camera

I have a Kodak EasyShare V550 camera. I've had it for years and had no problems with it until recently. Now I am unable to upload photos to the computer. I've tried using Picasa, Roxio, and Windows to upload the photos, but all of them say that the memory card is empty ... but when the memory card is in the camera, I can see and review all of the photos. Could be that the camera and/or the memory card are over the hill, but I'm still hoping that I can get our vacation photos from it

I have a Nikon E5400, ver 1.3. I bought a 4GB Kingston CF card; the package said "formatted and ready to use". On inserting into camera, the message flashed that the card is not formatted. So I proceeded to format. The next message that flashes is "Out of Memory". Questions: 1) is the CF card defective? 2) is E5400 incapable of reading a 4GB CF card, should we use only CF cards <1GB? 3) Will a firmware version upgrade to v1.4 help? 4) Any other reason why this could happen?

It cannot use a card larger than 2GB. Format the card in the camera. Insert it into a card reader and change the partition side to slightly under 2GB. The problem is FAT16 does not support more than 64K sectors of size 32K. ... Nikon Coolpix 5400 Digital Camera
