Having problems with your Sanyo VPC-S880 Digital Camera ?
I wanted to take close up pictures so I could sell items on ebay what would be the best settings and any other tips
Get out your owners manual and look for the closeup section. If you don't have a closeup setting, you can always shoot from further back and then crop the pictures. I'm sure you received a picture modification program on a CD with your camera. If you did not there are lots of free photo software on the web. Look for Picasa, Infanview, Photo studio 5, and others.

Close-up picture Hi! I purchased my camera to take up close-up pictures of handmade greeting cards. The cards are 4" x 5 1/2" with lots of little details. I'd like to show as much detail as possble. I'm not sure what the best setting are? I've tried using the flash, but the whole picture just glares out, the light bounces off of the card and makes a big glare in the center. Without the flash, the picture is too dark. Can you help me figure out the best setting to use? Or, what kind of lighting

I was taking pictures into bright sunlight switching between manual and automatic settings, and manual and automatic focus. First, the picutre would take, but the shutter would not open (viewfinder would remain closed) switching from manual to automatic focus fixed this issue. However now it seems that the aperture is stuck, and not enough light gets through to the viewfinder. How can I fix this?

Hello. I bought my Powershot SX1 IS in April 2010, and have never felt I could get good photos with it. The 'noise' seems bad, when I playback and zoom in just one notch, definately worse, the more I zoom. The color is often poor, and the focus on close-ups is not sharp. Would you say this is the best this camera can do, or would you say there is something wrong with this particular one. (I always have it set at highest resolution , often 100 ISO, try the set of three exposures to get diffe

What are the optimal settings for my digital camera? I have a brand new Canon PowerShot 12.1-Megapixel Digital ELPH camera, but I've been really disappointed in the quality of pictures it takes. For example, sometimes there are these smallish blurred white circles on the pictures. Can you recommend optimal settings that I should be using? I use my camera indoors and occasionally outdoors, so whatever settings best cover all different conditions would be ideal.
Small white circles usually means dust on the lens. Remove the dust with a blowerbrush - not a tissue.\012You are asking for a "1 size fits all" solution for your settings, and indoor and outdoor use really means different settings.   ... Canon PowerShot 12.1-Megapixel Digital ELPH Camera - Silver

The camera is fully functional through the portal viewer and takes excellant photos. Would you guess that it's a bad lcd? It cost only $25.95 with free shipping from ebay(Hong Kong)

I have a Nikon CoolPix 4300 that is about 5 years old. I mostly use it in the Macro mode for close-up photos of the sewing thimbles I sell on eBay. The last two times I've used the camera, I can take only a few pictures (2 or 3) before the camera shuts itself off. I've read the manual, but I'm still not sure what settings would be the best to photograph close-pictures of jewelry. I want the pictures as clear as possible. A lot of my pictures are fuzzy even when I select the stabilizer in mode 2.
