Having problems with your Sigma SD9 Digital Camera ?

My Sigma SD9 rapidly drains battery power; and I don't mean over a short period of time, but over a few minutes. Regardless of new or fresh rechargeable batteries, the drainage is frustratingly consistent. Have had the camera quit responding regardless of 3 sets of AA rechargeables, or non-rechargeables with more than 3/4 capacity left installed within 45 minutes of my last attempt to use this camera at a Botanical garden close to where I live. Other than junk it is there a way to solve this

Fairly brand new (less than 6 months old) Canon rebel xti - shooting in manual mode, then it gives a low battery message. I switch the battery and nothing. I recharge the first battery and install it, again - nothing. I removed the internal battery and left both batteries out for 30 minutes. Nada. I have barely even used this camera and I am furious. Is there anyone who knows what the problem is? If I seriously have to send it back under warranty already after shooting less than 1000 photos, I a

My S9600 was left unused [batteries left in camera] for several months. Now it will work fine with the mains adaptor, but is completely dead when on battery power. Charging Problem Charging appears complete after about 15 minutes. Normal charging time is 90 minutes. When the camera is turned on the oblong battery level indicator is filled white where previously it contained diagonal markings. The white disappears rapidly as the battery discharges within just a few minutes. Enough time to take a couple of picture. The camera then shuts down. I sent the camera to a repair company who at first said they could repair it. Later they told me the camera wa

My Canon powershot SD20 seems to constantly have a drained battery. I have two batteries for it, and each one seems to be good for about five minutes, then the camera says change the battery pack and it shuts off. But when I plug the battery in to charge the green fully charged light comes on within a minute. Are BOTH of the batteries defective, or is this a problem with the camera itself?

CAPACITY Problem I am using a 2GB Kingston CF card on my S9500, and at 5MP it can store up to 1000 pictures. Recently I had it formatted on a computer and when I inserted it back to my camera, the capacity went down to 590 pictures! i thought it caught a virus or something so I scanned it, then formatted it on the camera. but the display still says I got 590 shots left. so I reformatted it on another PC, and on Properties it says 0 usage so i'm positive there's nothing wrong with the card.
