Having problems with your Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-F717 Digital Camera ?

Movie trouble I haven't had my camera very long, it was a hand-me-down from my dad. So, this past week I took my first videos with it. All seems good on the LCD screen, but when I try and view it on my computer it is all distorted and blurry. The sounds is great the picture is just awful. Were my settings wrong? It is opening up in the newest version of Windows Media Player, am I missing some drivers for viewing? Thanks for any help~ Lisa

My Sony Alpha 200 digital camera takes lovely pictures, but as I am a beginner and don't really know much about apertures and shutter speeds and how complex they are, I'm having great difficulty in getting it to focus properly in the manual setting. All other settings are fine, but the image in my viewfinder is very blurry when I look through before taking the shot. I have altered the diopter for my eyes as I wear glasses, so that isn't the problem. Is there something I'm either doing wrong, or

My D60 has recently started having a long delay after snapping a photo. I can hear the shutter open -- stay open -- then close. The images are, of course, blurry and awful. I didn't change any settings, so I'm not sure what happened. Suggestions?

Have a canon powershot A40...can download pics on other computers through camera and scanner wizard, but have a new refurbished machine that is great, but flashes the ''can not detect camera''. The sound happens when I plug in and turn on the camera. ZoombrowzerEx crashes everytime I open the program. Have unistalled and reinstalled it several times, downloaded software update for XP and still does the same thing. The USB ports all read my printer, and flashdrives as well as ipod. what is wrong?

Invest in a USB card reader to read the CF card from your camera (around $15). Your camera was made before picture transfer protocol (PTP) was develeoped, which is what allows the camera and scanner wizard to work. With the card reader, you put your ... Canon Digital Cameras

Blurry pictures Using a point and shoot digital camera, it was set on night mode by mistake. Pictures turned out blurry. The snapshots were taken inside at night using flash in the camera. Probably because in night mode, camera was setting depth of field wrong. So using flash and set in night mode was the problem. But can anything be done to correct the blurry pictures taken in this situation?? Any software known to correct this problem? Thank's, Angela Sapp

Command dial on a friend's Fuji Finepix S9000 is NOT functioning. Can't control aperture, shutter speed, flash settings, etc. Can it be opened and fixed (he has no warranty, thus no problem with opening it). Is there a special setting or way of turning or pressing buttons that he is doing wrong? It says to press (and hold?) a button then twist the dial, but no change is made as far as I can see. I have tried enless things and have much experience (though I'd be a fool not to ask others). A

Image on the display screen is blurry. it WILL take a very blurry picture. there is a faint 'ratcheting" sound when the lens is fully extended. is there a way to 're-set" or calibrate the lens extension setting or focus? thanks very much for your assistance.

Extreme overexposure Outdoor photos are mostly blank - white. Indoor photos are okay if there is very little light and I have it set on the "snow" setting. If there is light from a window then the indoor photos are over exposed as well, often with horizontal lines and/or blurry pictures. It seems that the shutter is open too long, but I don't know why. The ISO settings and the Exposure Compensation are set normally. I have 2 of these cameras, one works fine (but has a black fleck in the

The problem is with the flash. When set on “auto” the flash will always go on during the day, when the conditions are great. I always have to set it to off. First of all, don't use the flash...it's only good for a short distance. Obviously, you need a fast shutter speed to stop the action.
