Having problems with your Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-F828 Digital Camera ?

Lens is loose from body

\015 The lens seems to be separating from the body. Is it easy to take apart and tighten?.\015

Answers :

One note on this fix. There are four screws that need to be tightened on the lens. With the cover off and the lens pointing straight forward, there are three small screws visible. After tightening them, rotate the lens upward to expose the fourth screww. After that one is tightened, you can then replace the cover and six cover screws.
Dear,

How did you order the replacements screws?

Thanks,

Loose lens? The camera works well and takes good pictures. However, the lens has developed considerable movement across its axis, and the sideways movement can be felt when moving the camera body from side to side. Is this looseness an indication of likely failure in the future, and should I do something about it at this stage? Any opinions would be appreciated.

The problem I'm having with my Sony DSC F828 is that the mobile lens has come loose from the body of the camera. There are no obvious screws visible that would stabilise it. I have read that it is a commin problem for this model. I would be grateful if you could help me find a solution. Should I take it in to get it fixed professionally or can I do it myself? thank you

I have a EOS-650, 35mm film camera(not digital)body. I want to purchase a lens for it. I need to know what model number lens and type will be compatable for this camera body? There are several to choose from but only certain types of lens will work on this type camera body. Some examples are EF type and USM type. I have a Nikon D90 with 18-105 mm lens. Lately, the onboard flash has not been firing even when I try to enforce it by having the flash popped up.
