DSC-T7 Blurriness Last week I purchased a DSC-T7 and I am having several problems with picture quality. Mainly, any white or light object in the picture (whether it be a t-shirt or a blanket etc.) has a extremely blurry edge, almost like a halo. Other areas of the picture then would be rather dark. I don't think it is an autofocus issue. I have set the EV to -1.0, the WB to Auto, the contrast, sharpness, and I everything else to normal. Can the camera be adjusted to fix this? thanks

Try this test:\015\012Mount the camera on a tripod or set it on a secure base and use the self timer to trip the shutter. Doing this will totally eliminate any possibility of camera shake causing blurriness.\015\012\015\012If the picture is still blu ... Sony DSC-T7 Digital Camera

Concert settings Hi, I am going to a concert, can you tell me the best settings to have the camera on, when I have it on iA if the subject moves then the picture is blurry, as there will lots of movement I obviously need to change this, also when I used it at my son's school in low light the pictures came out dark. Would it be best for me to do manual settings, if so which one? Thanks Julie

Hey Osfan,\015\012 I will start by saying concert photographs are some of the hardest images to capture successfully. The first thing you probably should do is set the iso to the highest setting possible which on this ... Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18K Digital Camera

Blurry pictures hi I hope that you can help. Every time I take a picture the picture comes out blurry. I'm not sure if the setting were changed by someone or not.

All of a sudden every picture I take with the 55-200 zoom lens is blurry and slightly out of focus. Pictures with the 18-55 lens are still sharp. I have been using that 55-200 lens for years for sports shots, and have never had any problem. I get the same blurriness shooting in both the auto sports setting and in shutter priority. It is a brand new issue. Could it be the AF servos starting to go in the lens, or am I doing something stupid?

Simplest answer is that you may have accidentally flipped the focus switch (A/M) on the lens to M. This turns off autofocus for that lens (which you might need to do if autofocus just can't resolve the image). Try turning it back to A.Ano ... Nikon D40x Digital Camera

I have a Nikon D5000 and my daughter is a competitive cheerleader and every competition the lighting is always dark and on the stage is really bright. My problem is i can't seem to get good pictures with my camera and i have tried all different kinds of modes. she turns out blurry all together are parts of her body will be blurry. What do i do to get a crisp picture of my daughter in action in these situations?

Photographing in low-light situations is always problematical. I'm going to assume you can't add more light, and go on to other things.\012\012\012The blurring is caused by subject motion. Because the light level is so low, the shutter ha ... Nikon Digital Cameras

Blurry Pictures I got my camera for Christmas, and every time I take a picture it comes out blurry no matter what setting I'm on. It's a Kodak M380. Why is this happening?

Could be two reasons...1. You need to press the shutter button half-way and allow the camera to lock in the focus before pressing the rest of the way. 2. You could be moving as you press the shutter button. ... Kodak EasyShare M380 Digital Camera

I was at a basketball game last night and taking pictures with the d80 and the 55-200 lens. All of the pictures I took in auto focus were blurry. I changed it to the S mode with shutter speed at 4000 and those pictures came out completely dark with nothing in the picture. I changed the setting to the sports mode and the shutter speed is not fast enough because I have the same issue with blurring or out of focus.

Hi and welcome to FixYa.\015\012\015\012I could go into a long disertation about your camera settings and what you should use, but I should let Ken explain it. I read this a couple of months ago (because I love photography too)! He has so ... Nikon D80 Digital Camera with 18-135mm Lens

White Screen Upon startup lens emerges but when screen appears it is white whereas it normally displays whatever the lens sees. When the shutter button is pressed the camera will focus and take a white picture which can be deleted. The camera does not flash although flash is set to automatic and photo taken in a dark room. Camera flashes (weakly) with flash set to manual on. Lens is unobstructed and appears to be perfectly normal. Camera was not dropped. Batteries have been changed.

I've got a DSC-S700 that I can't get to take clear pictures, I've tried all different settings and even automatic, still get blurry pictures, it was formated when first purchased, will formatting it again solve my problem? if not what can I do?

The memory card formatting is not the problem. There may be a fault with the camera, in which case you should return it under warranty if you can, but before you go there, have you put the camera into Macro mode? This is an extreme close ... Digital Cameras

Hi there, I am having the same problem. I have this dark round cicrle on each of my photos weather im outside or inside night or specially at night. I have a D90 nikon and it has a hoood on it and iam not using the additional flash just the build in it goes automatic since I did put it on automatic settings. Another thing how do I correct the pictures that has the black shadow, since it is made already. Thank you [email protected]

A huge possibility, without actually seeing the picture is that it's a shadow caused by the lens hood. The internal flash units are "generally" good for up to about 80mm then the focal length of the lens starts getting in the flash burst, add a hood ... Nikon D90 Digital Camera with 18-105mm lens

DARK PICTURES I just bought a Konica Minolta X1 DiMAGE digital camera. But I bought it used. It looks brand new and the seller had everything that came with it originally including the original box.So far, I have been extremely disappointed with it. ALL od the pics I have taken with it are very dark. I have tried every setting on the flash and it makes no difference. And it does it inside or outside. Could the problem be the lithium-ion battery? The battery gets weak fairly soon after powering t

I am afraid the shutter is faulty, which means it does not get enough light from the image, however it will still print the image but not in natural light, battery is not an issue here, you can try changing new battery but i don't think the image wil ... Konica Minolta DiMAGE X1 Digital Camera

I have a one year-old Canon Rebel XTi. Overall, the picture quality is consistent with the 10.2 megapixel capability. But, using the automatic setting, virtually ALL of my pictures are so dark (even with a flash) that they require added contrast and fill-light when reviewing them. I've talked to other owners of the same camera and they DO NOT have the same problem. Do you think there is a correctable problem to address? Or, is it possible that there is an inherent issue with the camera and

When I change my focus from manual to automatic the camera doesn't take pictures. It will attempt to focus but then it will focus and it will be blurry and it won't take the picture, then it repeats. But the manual setting works fine :/

Auto mode is the point-and-shoot mode. It is not the camera problem. It is a common problem amongst nikkor kit lenses. Get your lens checked to the dealer, or any Nikon customer care. If its under warranty, it'll be replaced. ... Nikon D3000 Digital Camera

Blurry Pictures I have had this camera less than a year. I took it to the beach 2 weeks ago and the camera was fine. Crystal clear pictures. Then, on the last day of vacation, the pictures started coming out blurry. Even when I am preparing to take a picture the view finder is blurry. The camera is on auto focus and it is set to the shoot and click setting (little green camera). It didn't get wet at all. Anyone know if there is a setting that I may have touched or is this an internal problem.

You probably got some condensation on the lens from going in and outside. You should be able to go to a Wolf Camera or similar store and have it cleaned. ... Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W50 Digital Camera

Blurry pictures Using a point and shoot digital camera, it was set on night mode by mistake. Pictures turned out blurry. The snapshots were taken inside at night using flash in the camera. Probably because in night mode, camera was setting depth of field wrong. So using flash and set in night mode was the problem. Blurry pictures I've had this camera for almost a year and everytime I want good pictures (vacation, birthdays, xmas) I'm disappointed with the quality of my pictures. So many of my pictures turn out blurry. And sometimes they'll look fine when reviewing on the camera, but when downloaded to my computer, the quality is poor. What is the best setting for indoor concerts? Alot of my pictures are blurry & either too dark or too light.
