Having problems with your Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H1 Digital Camera ?

Batteries My batteries go dead really fast. I evan bought new rechargeable ones and they do the same thing.

Hey Mary777,
\015\012 The most common cause of this is using your camera in either really hot conditions or really cold conditions. You could try cleaning the battery contacts and then charging the battery. If this doesn't work I would adjust the LCD screen backlight by following the directions on page 59 of your camera manual. I have included a link to a PDF download of your camera manual in case you need it. I hope this helps!

EasyShare Z712IS Purchased this camera in Aug. I love it but I can't seem to keep a charged battery in it. I bought some 2X rechargeable NI-MH batteries. Maybe they are not the right ones for the camera. Since the battery that came with the camera went dead I have tried these and they only last for about 6 - 10 pictures before needing recharging. What kind of a battery is the best performer for this camera that is rechargeable?

Hi! I took several shots yesterday and went to upload the pix on my computer today and when I connected the camera to my computer the battery was at 100%. Then the camera completely shut off. I tried turning it back on with no result. I recharged the battery with the same result. I figured my battery must be dead ( yet only 1 year old) and purchased a new one. I fully charged that one and plugged my camera in again and the same thing happened! What could this be caused from? No damage has ever

The batteries in my canon powershot A460 get used out really fast. Too fast! I tried using rechargable and unrechargable batteries, bought a whole bunch by now and allways the same problem. I know a bit about electronics and I'm guessing the supply circuit in the camera is not working as it should, my opinion is that some capacitor has a wrong value.

I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-W5 5.1MP - purchased about four and half years ago (ancient in technology years I know) - but it's a good camera and has served me well. I have had two digital cameras (the first an Ixus - the present a Powershot). After a couple of years the Ixus wore out batteries in 5 minutes - and buying new ones did not help. Now the same thing is happenng to my Powershot - which uses ordinary AA-batteries. Both cameras still take very good pictures - but a retailer told me that this is what happens to digital cameras after a while. Do i really have to by a new one every 3.rd year - or have anyone any suggestions?

Battery life When I first had this camera, about 3 years ago, the rechargeable batteries I bought seemed to last for ages. But more recently the "low battery warning" has been coming on very shortly after inserting freshly charged batteries. I have tried using ordinary batteries (high powered) but even with these I can only take a few pictures before the warning light comes on. Once the light is on, the camera goes dead after a few more pictures so it's not giving me a false "low battery" warnin
