Having problems with your Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P200 Digital Camera ?
My pictures are coming out either too dark or not focused
Take a daylight photo of a brick wall where you can see the individual bricks from about four paces in bright but not sunlight. See if the result is bright and sharp. Check the battery is charged and that the settings are all on the default settings and the camera is on Auto before taking the picture. You can also goi to manual if the camera allows it and try f 8 at 60th and see what happens. If the pics are still dark then there is a fault with the camera that needs professional attention.
Things to watch out for:\015\012
- Make sure that your finger is not blocking the flash while you are holding the camera \015\012
- Make sure that the exposure settings are set properly (user manual page 11) \015\012
- Make sure that you press the shutter button half-way down and wait a couple of seconds for the camera to focus. Once it has focused then go ahead and press the shutter button all the way down to take the picture. (user manual page 10)

My Sony DSC-W30 has a problem. When turned on the screen picture rarely can be seen. It is either completely dark and a picture taken will also turn out dark and unseen. Sometimes the screen will turn on and off many times and then turn dark. Sometimes I can smack it on my hand and it will go black or come back on. The anti-shake button sometimes allows it to come back on. I do not have any screen messages and all the other features seem to work but in a dark unusable screen.

Images I seem to get yellowish images and images that are really dark even when I put the flash on. The flash seems weak, almost defected.
