Using Sony CD-Rs I continue to get Disc Error messages after a few pictures, and then the pictures already taken are no longer available for download. Loosing many photos this way. Put in a new disc and it works for a while only to do this again. Had some previous problems similar to this with Memorex CD-RWs but it is getting worse and worse. Is this a repairable defect? This is a fairly new camera. Wish I had a memory stick instead of the CD memory!!

We found an old Sony Cybershot DSC - S30 camera laying around in our office. I was going to let my young son play with it as he would like a digital camera. I kept getting the memory stick error message. I ordered a new memory stick PRO Duo for it with a 4GB disk. It still shows the error message. Neither the old 4MB stick or the new Duo stick will allow the camera to format the memory stick. Any ideas??

Olympus D-435 Our camera has been working fine until last week when we started getting this error message - memory full on a blue screen when we had taken only one photo (and deleted all previous photos). Thinking there was a problem with the memory card, we removed it and used only the camera's internal memory which worked for a short while - allowing us to take 12 shots - but now it will only let us take 1 shot before giving us the error message. Is there anything I can do? Many thanks

You can try updating the firmware of the camera since this is not a problem with the memory card its with the camera itself you can check Olympus web site for software update on this.Hope that helps....... ... Digital Cameras

I saved all my photo's to my computer to see if maybe i filled the memory stick, but still no luck... -Sandy

Photos unread I have an Olympus Stylus 720 SW with the same problem. When I upload photos, some are corrupted and are chopped with parts of the photo misplaced. It has nothing to do with computer as it does this on all computers. I'm not using a reader, but simply uploading VIA USB cable. Some photos are so corrupted, I cannot even get a partial view of the choppy remnant of the photo taken. Could this be a memory card problem or a camera problem? I don't know.
