When power is turned on the zoom lense moves in and out on its own for a couple of seconds then stops. Camera remains on (battery is charged) The message changes from "access" to "turn the power off and on again." When that is done the same process happens again. Photos can be retrieved that are in the memory to view but the problem is getting to the starting screen in order to take a picture. What's up with that? Hope you can help!
