Hello, Just got back from Hawaii and took my Lumix Ts2 camera snorkeling every day. The first few days I had no problems, but the last half of my vacation, condensation covered the lens, and my pictures look like I'm shooting through a fog. The fog would dissippate after 45 minutes or so in the sun, but I missed many moments I would have liked to capture. The next day, I would go out and have the same problem. I worry that moisture is trapped inside the camera around the lens and no way to g

I had the "Access" error when turning on my Sony DSC-W70. The lens would go in and out a few times, and then I would be instructed to turn the power off and on again, which did not help. After reading comments from a few people with the same problem, I tried yanking on the lens when it was out and giving it a good couple of twists. I also took a q-tip with alcohol on it and cleaned all around the sides of the lens. Worked like a charm!

Hi I have a D7000 and would like to go to Norway to photograph the Northern Lights. I have looked on the web to see what lens would be suitable. Here are some ideas I found. Would you be able to give me your opinion about which one would be better for the lights and also versatile for other photography. 14-24 f2.8 17-35 f2.8 17-55 f2.8 24-70 f2.8

When taking photos of large objects at a distance, wide-angle lenses are best. It will be dark outside so you will want one with a large aperture. I would probably go with the 17-55 f2.8. If you can find a lens similar to this, but with a wider apert ... Nikon Digital Cameras

I have a casio exilim EX-Z200. it turned off with the lens partly exposed. it would not retract fully. i tried turining it on but it turns off again with the lens still partly retracted. it makes a somewhat like vibrating sound when the camera tries to retract the lens (while it turns off by itself). i cannot also view my photos since it won't turn on. i tried turning it on-off, removing battering and sd card and pressing the on/off, green and red buttons at the same time but none of these wo

However, upon restarting the camera, nothing changes - it still won't zoom!. Also, when turning on the camera, when the lens first comes out...it sounds funny, like it is puttering. Help?

I just received my Nikon D3100 in the mail today, and I was so excited. When I opened the lens cap on the camera body to put the lens on a small, clear-ish rectangle fell out. It was surrounded by a thin cooper colored frame that is easily removable. It looked like a little magnifying glass so I am kind of nervous. It seems to shoot pictures fine, but some times it tells me the shot is to dark even though I am in full light. It also took black pictures the first few times and if I point it di

I have a Canon Powershot S30 with a bad LCD. Otherwise working. I also have one with a working LCD, but the lens will not extend. I'd like to make one out of two. Is there a manual with exploded views available so I can do it myself or is that unrealistic. I have several cameras, so I suspect that a professional repair would cost more than the camera is worth. Like most electronic relics, it seems to be cheaper to replace than repair.

Hi i just bought a canon eos rebel from someone online and it has a 28-80 lens. I try to use it and i noticed the focus is very loose, is that normal? I dont know alot about cameras but i have used manual cameras before and i have never used one with such a loose focus. And also would i lose slight focus if its like that when i go and take a picture?

Your camera is primarily an autofocus model: manual focussing is very much a secondary feature and is always very free moving. If it were any other way then it would cause the AF motor to work much harder and dramatically shorten the battery life. ... Canon EOS Rebel 2000 with 28-80 lens 35mm Film Camera

I'm a new user of the D90 (and digital in general), and on my first major trip with it I had problem with the shutter not working. I would take some images, put the camera down without turning it off and move on to the next spot. At the second stop the camera would not work. I'd turn it off, remove the battery, run the lens in and out and eventually it would work again. The message I got was F--, which said that the lens was not installed properly. However the lens was never removed. What's
