Sony Cyber Shot 5.0 MP Zeiss Lens has distorted image

\015 The camera had been working perfectly until I made a video and downloaded it onto my pc. In the files downloaded from my camara to pc an extra file with gears appeared. Not knowing that my camara was not working properly I deleted that file. Now I think it was part of the camara's operating system since then the viewer is showing a distorted image. How do I get whatever it was that I deleted back on my Sony Cyber Shot 5.0 MP Zeiss Lens? The registration I have not done I kept clicking register later could this be the problem?\015

I own a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55 with a 4GB Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo. After taking several images, the camera started changing the viewing size of some images. These images look OK when I hook the camera up to my computer to view, but when I try and view them on the camera, they have shrunk to the size of a postage stamp! I have tried reformating the memory stick, but this did not seem to help. Also, I occasionaly loose images when I go back to view them - the screen goes blue with a file forma
