Sometimes the autofocus doesn't work. It is switched to af. When I turn the camera on it will normally focus but after 1 or a couple of pictures it will not autofocus. If I move the switch to Manual I can take the picture and then if I move the switch back to m/a it will focus and keep focusing and I can take a few few more frames then then the auto cocus stops working again and I have to switch back to M and so on. I never know when it wount work. Thank you.

I was taking pictures into bright sunlight switching between manual and automatic settings, and manual and automatic focus. First, the picutre would take, but the shutter would not open (viewfinder would remain closed) switching from manual to automatic focus fixed this issue. However now it seems that the aperture is stuck, and not enough light gets through to the viewfinder. How can I fix this?

Lumix tz3 Please turn camera off and then on again" as soon as camera is switched on. I Can view any menu, or read SD card, but cannot take any pictures. If I turn on in a picture taking mode it starts to focus and then the message appears, when I turn it off the lens does not close. If I turn on in playback mode, it works fine, if I turn it off from playback mode, then the lens closes. Basically, any picture taking mode triggers the error message. Solution?

My Sony DSC-T200 also vibrates periodically. I've never dropped it, and 90% of the time, its functioning just fine, but once in a while (usually for the duration of a whole event that I'd like to take pictures at), it vibrates very much like a cell phone with ringer set on vibrate. It seems to be the autofocus lense since the focus of the picture is also oscillating with the vibration. Is there a tooth on a gear broken or something? Is this camera prone to this? Right now no vibration. What is going on?
