Problems transferring photos to SD Card
\015 When I try to copy a photo over from my normal c:photos directory to the SD card using a number of methods; drag and drop, copy and paste, cut and paste etc... the SD directory says 'Cannot copy DCSXXXXX. The directory or file cannot be created'.\015\012\015\012Yet if you select a number of photos to copy it will randomly copy 1 or two to the card then stop with the above message. There are already 410 photos on there. It is a 2gb card of which these take up 210mb. So there is easily enough space. \015\012\015\012Here's the odd bit. I used to use a 512mb card - this also started to play up in the same fashion. So I got a new card and transferred the images across. It transferred most of them and again the above message. Now the problem seems much worse. I can hardly transfer any photos at all now. \015\012\015\012Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.\015\012\015
You can solve this problem by just deleting all of your pictures in the memory card then turn it off for atleast for an hour and try refresh it and then copy it to the memory card.do tell if it works or if it does'nt do tell then i know another solution

I removed the card, and placed it in a card reader. It worked fine and I was able to transfer the photos. Replaced the card, and still get the same error. I've already re-formatted the card,
First, memory cards don't last forever, so it may be time for a new card. Make sure you check the pins in your camera and the contacts in your card for dust/dirt. I'd guess you already looked at this, though. \015\012\015\012I've had s ... Nikon D70 Body Only Digital Camera
