Fault when taking pictures

\015 I have a samsung i70 digital camera. It seems to take pictures with fuzzy horizontal lines. I have been told that this is a fault but im ot sure what to do! My girlfriend gave me the camera for christmas but she bought it off e-bay. The seller did not say that there was a fault and will not supple any return address. I was hoping i can still use the 2 year warrenty for repair? thanks for any help.\015

If you go to this link you should be able to check to see when and if the camera was registered and see if there is a warranty available.  also the majority of companies will replace and/or fix the problem for free or a minor expense even outside the warranty period if you send it to them.  i have done this with a couple of different cameras and had them fixed and replaced with no problems.  good luck.

I bought the camera in the UK but I have since moved to Portugal and have only now had a chance to get the new camera out. This, I know, is my fault. But, nevertheless, I can't get it to work - the LCD monitor remains black when shooting whatever I do. It will take pictures via the optical viewfinder okay but I cannot get the screen to show. It works to display the settings etc but not for taking pictures so that when I press the display button it alternates between the photo settings (which

Canon models oddly do not support images on the LCD in every picture mode. Since the LCD works for settings, my guess is its in the wrong mode for the live view and its is not an issue with the camera's LCD.\015\012\015\012Here is a link to the ... Canon EOS 500D / Digital Rebel T1i Digital Camera

Zoom Error While taking a picture of my daughter at Disneyland, I accidently dropped my camera, while in picture mode. It must have been about a 3 foot fall. It landed on the extended lense causing it to disalign itself. I attempted to push lens back into it's proper alignment. Now that I turn on the camera, I automatically get a "Zoom Error" fault in the LCD screen. Is it possible for me to fix it or what do you suggest? Thank you for your time and efforts..... Sincerely Alex Z.

My IXUS V2 has suddenly developed a serious fault. When I switch on, the digital display shows a confusing array of lines and colours, with the actual picture barely discernable. If I take a picture, it comes out as a confused image of colours and lines. The view through the optical viewfinder is fine so I imagine I have a serious electronic problem. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Please can you advise me? The fault appeared without apparent reason, and is that when you take a photo, thin horizontal black lines appear, and when you transfer to the PC the lines are still there. The lines only appear after you have taken the picture - whilst you are viewing the subject through the viewfinder everything seems just fine. Many thanks for anything light you can throw on this, otherwise very happy with the camera. Tony
