Forgets date / time every power off/on

\015 Camera never remembers date and time after power off and back on, even for one second, and even with a freshly charged battery in it. I have to spend time resetting calendar and clock every time I use it. I have charged and changed batteries, but that didn't help. Camera is approx 2 years old. Is there some tiny internal battery that is supposed to keep the clock set?\015
