Having problems with your Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55 Digital Camera ?

Not able to get to shooting mode

\015 When trying to get to shooting mode, it repeatedly says "Turn the power off and on again." which I have tried many times, along with charging the battery and removing the memory card. I am able to get to the viewing mode fine and am able to see the pictures, but it just won't let me get into the shooting mode.\015

When I turn on my Canon PowerShot S2 IS camera and set it to shoot mode, the screen is black. A while back, I was able to get the screen to show by toggling with the camera and constantly turning it on and off. Now, however, it is completely black and will refuse to work. How do I fix this problem? Thank you.

A stuck shutter is another common failure mode for digital cameras. The symptoms of a stuck or "sticky" shutter are very similar to CCD image sensor failure. The camera may take black pictures (for shutter stuck closed), or the pictures may be very b ... Canon PowerShot S2 IS Digital Camera

My Nikon Coolpix 4800 is behaving strangely. In all shooting modes (except landscape, where it automatically zooms in completely and will not zoom out), it works properly. But in all menu modes it switches by itself every couple of seconds between the viewfinder and the screen and it cycles rapidly (with occasional brief pauses) through the menu items. By timing the cycling, I was able to reset it to the factory settings, but that didn't solve anything. Is there some way to reinstall or reboo

Cropping I have had my Fuji Finepix S7000 for a few years now. I have always been able to zoom in on the pictures in playback mode and trim them. I have tried to do this today and it won't let me trim any of the pictures. From looking at the manual I'm wondering if the files are saving as CCD-RAW files? Any ideas how I managed to do this and how I get back to being able to crop them? I would be very grateful for your help.
