Having problems with your Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W80 Digital Camera ?

Indoor photos are yellow.

\015 All of my photos shot indoors with lowish or low light levels turn out with a pronounced yellow cast. I tried test shots with all the different settings relating to indoor shooting and none surmounted this difficulty. Yet I see pictures from others' cameras of the same scene that are well lit. What am I missing?\015

Answers :

Your camera is choosing (or you chose) the wrong white balance setting. Try Auto White Balance, and if that doesn't work, try tungsten white balance. You could switch to daylight color bulbs in your lamps.

You need to set the white balance for the kind of light in the gym. Take a few test shots while changing the white balance each time until you're happy with the color. For indoor shots, set your ISO to at least 800 and turn off the flash unless you'r ... Fuji FinePix S1000FD Digital Camera

I have a Canon Power Shot A720. Outdoor photos are beautiful. Indoor photos are always grainy/blurry...a lot of noise. I have tried the ISP feature but there are only two choices... 1. Auto or 2. High ISO Auto Either setting, the indoor photos are grainy. Further, there are times when my flash will not work. It won't work on Auto setting or when I try and "force flash" it. No flash and the photo will not allow a picture to even be taken. Any suggestions? Thanks

Extreme overexposure Outdoor photos are mostly blank - white. Indoor photos are okay if there is very little light and I have it set on the "snow" setting. If there is light from a window then the indoor photos are over exposed as well, often with horizontal lines and/or blurry pictures. It seems that the shutter is open too long, but I don't know why. My Fuji s2000 always shoots picture that are blured. I have tried many settings and different exposures however I keep getting the same result. What can I do ? The worst mode on this camera is the auto mode, I can never get a clear indoor picture. This camera takes beautiful pictures of flowers/nature and all outdoor photo's turn out beautiful it is the indoor photo's I have even tried the sports mode for when people move but I still get a very blured image

Found the same thing and I think the answer is the opposite of previous suggestions. The s2000 is truly awful at anything above about 400ASA The degree of pixel binning it uses just makes the pictures look terrible. Force the camera to use 400 or s ... Fuji FinePix S2000hd Digital Camera

Canon A560 camera problem - the images are overexposed. I checked the exposure setting, AWB, and all other settings and they are all normal. There is an exposure setting where I can set to + or - 2, but setting it to -2 does not help much. Outdoor photos are almost completely white. There is some detail in black objects. Indoor photos are overexposed. Flash pictures seem OK. The picture on the display is OK. I compared some macro photos taken a few weeks ago with macro photos now. The good photo

Grainy Pictures I received this camera as a Christmas gift, this past Christmas, and I have not been able to get a decent photo from it yet. The indoor photos are very grainy with a bubble sometimes in the photo. Outdoor photos are too light and also grainy, especially when the zoom is used. I have tried adjusting the image quality and the ISO setting but neither of these adjustments have improved the quality of the pictures. I've got a Fujifilm F30. Since yesterday, its not working properly. When I take photos, it 'absorbs' too much light and indoor photos becomes really bright and outdoor photos becomes nearly white from brightness. And when I transfer the pictures to computer, it has minor lines accross the picture. The video mode seems to be unaffected. What is the problem and is it worth fixing ? Would like to fix it if I can as F30 is still considered one of the best compact camera Fuji has ever made ! Thanks.
