Having problems with your Sony Cybershot DSCW80 7.2MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom and Super Steady Shot ?

Problems charging I haven't used my sony cyber shot in over a month so the battery died, and now I can't turn it on to start charging it again, how do I turn it on to start charging it again?

Answers :

You don't normally need to turn any item on to charge it-it charges quicker turned off. You should have either a power lead you plug into the cam to plug into the mains or a charger cradle which you sit it in and plug that into the mains. You do not need to turn the camera on. When it is charged you will of course be able to.

When I press the power button for my Olympus FE-190 to turn the camera on nothing happens. I haven't used it for a while so I initially thought that the battery might not have any charge. When I put the battery in the charger the charging light stays on for a few minutes and then goes out. I'm wondering if the battery needs replacing. I don't use the camera very often, have had it for a few years and, stupidly, have a tendancy to leave the battery in it when the camera is not in use.
