Hi, when I turn on my Sony dsc w7 cybershop, you can hear the motor trying to activate the lens which doesn't open or push out. Then it starts beeping and the lcd says turn power off and on again. How, if I can, do I fix this. Don't want to get rid of the camera as it certainly has seen much use . PLEASE HELP! Thanx

I have downloaded service/repair manual but there are no hints on how to fix. Can it be fixed? That is the question.
