Having problems with your Vivitar Digital Cameras ?

How do I get my memory card to work. It says "card protected"

Answers :

Hi,
\015\012
Some memory cards have a Write Protection switch on them.
To check this please remove the Memory card from the camera. Check if there is a "lock" switch on the left side.
Slide this switch to the "Unlocked" position, and reinsert the card into the camera.
\015\012
This should resolve the issue and the error should go away.
\015\012
In case the issue persists, it could mean the the write protect on this card was perhaps set by mistake while it was connected to the computer.
\015\012
You will need to use the computer to cancel the read-only setting.
Please connect the card to your computer through the camera or a card reader and cancel the write protect on the card.
\015\012
\015\012If this doesn't work for you, please comment and let me know, and I will be more than happy to assist you to further resolve your issue.
\015\012I will appreciate your feedback and positive rating.
