I can not get the battery to charge on the ViviCam 8025. I am charging it through the camera. What I am i doing wrong?
Not all computer USB ports put out enough current to charge batteries. Try a different port if available (do not go through a USB hub). Alternatively, use the supplied battery charger instead.

Troubleshooting problems I have a canon powershot s60. I tried to take a picture earlier and the screen is completely white. The camera turns on, the battery is fully charged and there is nothing wrong with the digital card. THe camera wasn't dropped nor did it get wet. I keep trying to turn it off and on, but all I get is a white screen. No images. But there are 900 images on the camera card and i just used it this morning. Please help. Thanks, Shannon

I have just bought a Nikon D70 body off Ebay (therefore didn't get a userguide) I am trying to charge up my battery which appears to work fine (the light shows up on the charger). When I put the battery in the camera, the battery icon flashes with only a 3rd of the battery icon full. Does this mean that there is something wrong with the charger/battery?

BATTERY DOES NOT CHARGE Received a "Vivitar T328" camera yesterday. Inserted the supplied battery and a new memory card into the camera and connected the camera via "USB" cable to the supplied charger. Left the unit plugged in over night. The battery did not charge. This morning plugged the camera into a lap top computer using the supplied "USB" cable. Checked after 5 hours and found that the battery still does not seem to accept the charge. When I leave the fully charged battery in the camera for about 10 days it gets completely discharged. This is the original Nikon battery. I though the battery is old and bought a genuine Nikon battery. The issue is the same. My relatives have Nikon D200, D70s etc and they do not have these issues and the battery if left in camera last for more than 6 or many more weeks. Battery life My AA 3000mah batteries don't last 30 mins before the camera switches itself off, indicating that the batteries are flat. When tested on a multimeter they read 1.24volts. The manual say I should get 300 shots using 2500mah batteries. The batteries have been discharged and charged up many times but still the same problem. I'm using Nimh type batteries that read 1.35v full charge and 1.24v when the camera shuts off. Is this a common fault with this camera ?

In May we purchased a Canon Power Shot 590IS. We love the camera, however, battery life with camera is poor at best. With new high energy digital batteries we get approxiamtely 40 - 45 pictures, with 4 differnt manufactures rechargable batteries, we get 12 - 15 pictures, before the batteries require replacement. The camera was retruned to Best Buys where we purchased it aong with an extended warranty. They keep the camera for 10 days, retruned it saying nothing was wrong. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if the battery is not charging or the charger is broken because everytime I try to charge it, it charges for seconds at a time and now my camera can only take about 15 pictures even when I try charging it by constantly replacing the battery in the charger to get it to charge for a little bit. I'm not sure what to replace, the battery or the charger or the camera itself.

I cannot then even get the camera to shut down eithout removing the battery or just leaving it until it times itself out. If i remove the battery, I still have to turn it on & then off again to get the lense to retract. Can you help to solve this problem. It does it no matter what the charge in the battery is like.
