Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?
I have a Canon PC 1309 Digital Camera, which seems to have no power. I tried new batteries - nothing. Inside the camera is a little rechargeable battery - MS614SE. This battery is rated at 3.1v, but it is comatose - just nudges the needle on the voltmeter.
My question is: is the rechargeable battery bad, needs to be replaced, or is it something else - the battery is good but is simply not being recharged?
Can these batteries be recharged in a Radio Shack recharger?

I own a Canon EOS Rebel Xsi. I have recharged the battery and put it in the camera. However, the camera won't turn on. Shortly before having this problem, I seem to recall a message in red letters on the display that said something to the effect that my battery pack was bad. I have a sinking feeling that my battery is good, but there is something wrong with my camera. Can you recommend what I should do?

EasyShare Z712IS Purchased this camera in Aug. I love it but I can't seem to keep a charged battery in it. I bought some 2X rechargeable NI-MH batteries. Maybe they are not the right ones for the camera. Since the battery that came with the camera went dead I have tried these and they only last for about 6 - 10 pictures before needing recharging. What kind of a battery is the best performer for this camera that is rechargeable?

Battery problem This morning I turned on my brand new Nikon Coolpix 5400 and got nothing on the screen. pushed some buttons and still nothing. Went to turn it off and it won't. The lens stays extended and the power light is still on. I don't know if maybe the batteries are so low they can't do anything, but I was under the impression that the camera had an indicator for the batteries really needing to be recharged. The low battery light was on last night, but I haven't seen need to be recharged
Some of these cameras go from "low" to "no" very quickly. The electronics are more sensitive to available voltage than the mechanicals and it doesn't take full voltage to keep an led lit or to retract the lens. But the cpu shuts down. I would have ex ... Nikon Coolpix 5400 Digital Camera
When I turn the power on, it beeps and says "turn the power off and on again" plus it shows a battery in the upper lefthand corner. When I turn it off and on, I get the same message. I can view stored pictures but can't take pictures. I have charged the batteries and it makes no difference. Since I have been using and recharging the same batteries since I got the camera, could it just be that I need new rechargeable batteries? I bought the camera in 2004 and love it. Battery problem Kodak z712 uses different types of batteries and the one supplied with camera are non-rechargeable lithium type that die down soon. Camera specifications say one can use rechargeable lithium-ion, Klic-8000. Now while replacement klic-8000 are cheaply and abudantly available, is this appropriate to use them in this model? Some say the can leave the camera damaged. I need a solution because I am not getting the original kodak klic8000 in my city.

My PowerShot S3IS drains it's batteries while turned off. I first thought my rechargeables had gotten old, so bought new non-rechargeable batteries, took a few pictures, and the next day the camera indicated it needed new batteries.
