Having problems with your Digital Cameras ?
I presently have a Samsung Digital Camera Model L830.The memory card is in the camera (2G).After having taken some shots and then took the card out and had some prints made from it.I replaced the card in the camera correctly and now the camera will not allow me to take any further pics.I am being imformed the the CARD IS LOCKED
How can I get the card released from the LOCKED position to open.

Fix it by:
1 remove memory card from camera
2 look for the very little tab/switch on the front of the card
3 slide it to the unlocked position (opposite of now)
4 put it back into camera
if the tab/switch is missing do not dispair..
1 use a small piece of clear tape to cover this 'tab/switch' opening
-this is the same concept as cassette/vhs/ 5 1/4" floppies...removing the 'tab' to lock it

Nikon COOLPIX S710 stops working after battery and/or memory card are removed. I have reformed the memory card (no change). Purchased 2X new batteries (no change). One of the original batteries will allow the camera to work, directly after a fresh charge, but not after it is removed, unless directly after insertion from being freshly charged. I need to be able to map a drive letter to the L20 to allow my quoting software to upload photos. My old camera would allow the computer to recognise the camera card as "E:" drive when connected to the usb port however the L20 has an 'L20' folder which cannot be mapped. My Konica Minolta DiMage Z2 Digital will no longer accept the SD card. I purchased another card and it will not allow the card to lock into place. I recently bought the camera and was able to take 45 pictures without a memory card. I then put a memory card in from my phone and it allowed me to take pictures. I have photos on my computer that I want to move to my polaroid digital camera. I got a card reader and it goes through all the step that its downloading but when I put the card in the camera to view the photos the screen says no images.
