I have copied the photographs from the 4 Gb memory card to the computer (170 picture) but now when I insert the memory card back into the camera I receive the message "No valid picture to play" and can only take a photo to built-in memory. I was able to retrieve the pictures off the memory card but can't delete them. I tried putting the SD card in my Canon Digital Elph, same deal. I thought a reformat of the card in the camera would solve the problem but nope. It spits back at me "Memory Card Locked". The format option isn't even available on the Canon. Grrr, I TOLD my mom to get a Canon but she had to have this one because it's pink. Haha!
There's a tab on the side of the SD-card which sometimes slides to lock(=write protect) position when you enter the card in the reader/camera. Can you take photo's? Are you sure the tab is on 'write enable'? ... Digital Cameras

I had a memory card that got full and the camera switched to internal memory. It is also full. I took out the card and used another camera to delete some pictures.
