Question: Are there other ways of deleting pictures from the cam aside from doing it manually? If the pics were accidentally deleted, how can we retrieve them? I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS1. Once I transfer the media cards pictures onto the computer and then re-insert the card into the camera, all pictures seem to have been deleted. However, when I take the media card to Wal-Mart to be developed, all pictures are displayed on their photo printer. My question is, "Why are my pictures not able to be viewed inside the camera once pictures have been transferred to the computer, but is able to be viewed on a photo printer at Wal-Mart?" Kathy

If I go really fast I can delete one picture at a time. I can still take pictures and they still show up (for 2 seconds).
