Having problems with your Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z6 Digital Camera ?

View finder Camera will not switch to view finder mode it stays in LCD viewing even when the camera mode switch is changed, and will not switch to the menu allowing the card to format

Answers :

I had the same problem, it is the switch inside that is broken which allows you to switch back and forth between viewing pictures and taking them. There isn't really a fix besides getting the switch replaced and I am having a very hard time trying to find parts for mine. Good luck.

Lumix tz3 Please turn camera off and then on again" as soon as camera is switched on. I Can view any menu, or read SD card, but cannot take any pictures. If I turn on in a picture taking mode it starts to focus and then the message appears, when I turn it off the lens does not close. If I turn on in playback mode, it works fine, if I turn it off from playback mode, then the lens closes. Basically, any picture taking mode triggers the error message. Solution?

System Error I downloaded the pictures onto a CD from my Konica Minolta today like I always do. When I was finished I went onto the camera to delete the pictures and format the card - like I always do. (I have had this camera for right at 1 year) When I turn the switch to the "view" mode it comes up with "system error" within about 2 seconds and the whole camera turns off. If I go really fast I can delete one picture at a time. I can still take pictures and they still show up (for 2 seconds).

Same thing happend to my father's camera (memory card). Seems that deleting the pictures from the card via the computer solves the problem. Corrupt files on the card cause the camera to read system error. No corrupt files = working camera! :) ... Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z5 Digital Camera

Kodak V1003 A few weeks ago, shortly after I'd taken a pic, the lens refused to retract and the camera switched off. It has never been dropped or had anything spilled on it. Strangely, when I press the button furthest left the camera comes on, allows me to view pictures on the card, set the time etc - everything except take pictures.
