Blue photos Can anyone tell me some reasons why some outdoor shots I took of snow/trees, etc. might look blueish? I took some pictures at sundown that came out fine, and ones I took about 10 minutes later look blue. I don't recall changing any settings. I also took similar shots at the same time with another digital camera and those looked fine. Is this something that's common in low light with a lot of white background? (Or is this a "user problem?")

Snow pictures tend to be blue due to the blue spectrum being scattered and reflected from the snow (similar to why the sky is blue). Plus just after sunset, you're going to get a cooler color temperature (blue cast).\015\012\015\012However, instead o ... Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ10 Digital Camera

Hi--I have a panasonic lumix DMC-FP8, which I bought in May 2010. The camera is great for outdoor landscapes, etc. but I've had problems with low lighting and red eye. The camera has trouble focusing on the subjects, and there are often white spots all over the picture (even though I've cleaned the lens and checked to see if there were scratches or dirt on it). In addition to this, I have the red eye setting on, but I still get really awful red eye in all of my pictures. The camera is still new

I have a Canon sd630.The camera works great except that it won't remember its settings. I was wondering if I could flash my camera with the sd500 firmware? I ju

I own a D90 and of late have had problem getting the shutter to actually fire and take a photo at times. It will work sometimes and not at others. I have tried changing the memory card - putting it on manual etc but still won't work. The battery is fully charged. It occasionally comes up with an r05 and r21 code in the R lower box and a flashing F at the top R when this seems to happen. I haven't played with the settings all that much - just since this has begun happening. Can you make any sugge

The r codes you mention are related to speeds of buffering information onto the memory card. A high ISO NR setting on the camera has a huge impact.... the cross over point is 800 ISO. If you have it on, and are on 800 or over, the remaining buffer ca ... Nikon Digital Cameras

My camera (Sony DSC-T100) is about 3 years old. It has worked perfectly in that time but recently, outdoor photos show a lot pink where it does not belong (sky, side walks, etc.). Indoor pictures still look great, with or without flash. Sounded similar to some of the bad CCD discussions I have seen, but my camera seems to have been built after that problem was supposedly fixed by Sony. I tried calling the number (866-703-7669) I have seen in several postings, but it does not seems to work.
