Blurred edges My Canon Rebel XTi took awesome photos when I first bought it. I let a family member use it and I think the settings must have been changed or something, because now all my photos are blurred on the edges, esp. on the left side of the photo. I always use AF and the blurring occurs no matter what ISO I use. Also, my action shots used to be crisp and clear with no blurring whatsoever. Now they are blurred, doesn't matter if it's night or daylight and no matter what ISO. Is there
Blurring occurs not depending on ISO, i think the lens is the problem. try to clean the lens glass carefully, is there some grease stick on the lens? if not it might be dislocated one of the lens structure.have you try another lens? ... Canon EOS 400D / Rebel XTi Digital Camera
Have Nikon Coolpix 885 dig. camera, bought in 2000, still works OK. I had been transferring the photos to my old computer using "Nikon View" 5 version 5.0.0 software that came with the camera and my Windows XP operating system with no problems. I now have a new computer using Windows 7. This is my question: Will it be OK to install the original "Nikon View" 5 disk with Windows 7 or is there a newer "Nikon View" software to work with Windows 7 and my old Coolpix 885?

Whenever I try to take a picture using "auto focus" option with my Nikon D40, (using the standard lens that came w/the camera), it makes a clicking sound and will not auto focus. But if I use it in manual mode it does not click. What could be the problem?
This camera focuses the lens by sending an electronic signal to it. If you hear a clicking sound, the lens is receiving the signal, but not responding. I suggest you take the camera & lens to a local photo store & ask if they could let you mount anot ... Nikon D40x Digital Camera
Manual mode I bought a G9 and so far I'd had no problems but I tried to use the Manual Mode and found that the pictures it takes are almost black... I went over every setting, tried diferent sensibilities but I cannot find the problem. In the other modes Auto, P, Av, etc, it works perfectly fine. Can anybody help me?

We just bought a Nikon coolpix 4000 camera. My partner used a Vivitar screen protector system which has you use a wipe to clean the screen before applying the protector. When I leave the fully charged battery in the camera for about 10 days it gets completely discharged. This is the original Nikon battery. I though the battery is old and bought a genuine Nikon battery. The issue is the same. My relatives have Nikon D200, D70s etc and they do not have these issues and the battery if left in camera last for more than 6 or many more weeks. I have a Nikon D80 and the camera locks up and won't take a picture - the F keeps blinking and it won't lock into a f3.5 or whatever so you can take a pciture - why would this happen ? I have a Nikon E5400, ver 1.3. I bought a 4GB Kingston CF card; the package said "formatted and ready to use". On inserting into camera, the message flashed that the card is not formatted. So I proceeded to format. The next message that flashes is "Out of Memory". Questions: 1) is the CF card defective? 2) is E5400 incapable of reading a 4GB CF card, should we use only CF cards <1GB? 3) Will a firmware version upgrade to v1.4 help? 4) Any other reason why this could happen?
