\015 Thanks a lot to answer my question. Sorry I didn't give you the detail. * I got 'err' flicker on top display of my D80 * I got 'err-09' message * the build in flash doesn't want to open * no auto focus * I can't change the apperatur and speed or iso setting * only the mirror goes up but not the shutter blade * so, there is no image can be capture * I take the lens off and put it again many times * I did some reset in the menu, body-close the usb things, press 2 green bottom together * fully recharge the battry * change the memory card * pray * and I am going to bring my camera to Nikon service in Bali, that would take $ 200.So, please help me. I only can pray that God would always bless you.Thanks\015
\015\012From a glance, it looks like the message is trying to tell you that you are shooting and storing the images on the internal buffer, not on a memory card. I'd removed and re-set your CF/SD card and maybe even try another card if possible.\015\012
\015\012A last resort may be to attach the camera to a computer and see if the images will be stored on the computer when you shoot. I used to do this with a D100 at work, but couldn't tell you how...a search would probably tell you how...use 'tether' and your camera model.\015\012

I have copied and pasted someone elses problem, because it is the same one I am having. So if I want to use the aperture for taking Manual photos I cannot do this because when it goes off of F22, it reads FEE, error. "I have nikon d80 with the fEE error code blinking... I know this means that the aperture is not locked at the 22 but it will not allow me to change the aperture settings. Please help us!!!"

Here we are on our DREAM trip West, currently at the Grand Canyon. Now, with my D80 getting an 'F---' error message in my LCD settings area. Was using my 18-135mm lens. Finally, and regrettably, switched to my telephoto and error message disappeared. This AM put the 18-135 lens back on and worked perfectly for a few inside shots inside our RV.
Use a clean moist cloth and clean the electrical contacts on the back of the lens and in the mount on the body. When putting the lens back on, try jiggling the lens a little and see if that helps. ... Nikon D80 Digital Camera with 18-135mm Lens

The top (monochrome) LCD on our Nikon D80 recently broke. I think that it is actually called the "Control Panel," and displays settings, battery life, number of pictures remaining, etc. Please note that this is not the 2.5" color LCD on the rear of the camera. I know that it is merely the LCD because the backlight works, as does portions of the LCD display itself. Does anyone know of a guide or video to perform this repair? Also, does anyone know the part number? I plan to call Nikon tomor

I have a Nikon D80 camera that is about 1 year old. I has worked fine until about 6 months ago. Sometimes when I turn it on and press the button to take the picture nothing happens. I have to wait awhile and keep playing with the button and then it will finally take the picture and act normal. This happens inside and out. Sometimes the flash will pop up outside in direct sunlight. Do I have some settings wrong or why is it acting like this?
