Having problems with your Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX2 Digital Camera ?

HI, IS THERE A SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD TO TRANSFER PHOTO'S TO MY PC FROM THIS CAMERA? THANKS.

Answers :

If the camera comes with a cable to connect it to the computer, you should be able to transfer the photos without the assistance of any software. Once connected, click the start button, or windows button, in the lower left hand of the screen. Go to My Computer. Look for the device and open it. You should be able to search inside the device for the photos, then right-click and copy the photos you want, then paste them into whatever folder you would like in your My Documents folder.
May I suggest something easier? You can just get a memory card reader, attached the memory card inside and then connect to your computer. You can upload the photos to your computer without the need to download extra software. Plus, it will save the battery of your camera.

My Olympus Camedia C-60 Zoom Camera has served me well for several years. I was always able to transfer photos to my computer simply by clicking on the PC button on the screen on the camera. When attempting to download photos from my CX7310 camera to my computer the computer screen gives the impression that the photos are being downloaded but then I receive a message that the pictures have not been transferred and the pictures will not be removed from the device. I have noticed a little rust on the outside of the USB cable plug which fits into the comuter. Could this rust be the problem with being unable to download photos to my computer?

I have a Nikon D70 camera. I'm using a Lexar 2GB card inside. Problem focuses on the card. Previous to this moment, card has worked fine. Today, shot photos and when I hooked up the camera to download the pics, got an error in the viewfinder (CHR). Looked at the manual, and it said problem was with the card. I removed the card, and placed it in a card reader. It worked fine and I was able to transfer the photos. Replaced the card, and still get the same error. I've already re-formatted the card,

First, memory cards don't last forever, so it may be time for a new card. Make sure you check the pins in your camera and the contacts in your card for dust/dirt. I'd guess you already looked at this, though. \015\012\015\012I've had s ... Nikon D70 Body Only Digital Camera

I'm experiencingdifficulty in transferring photos to my pc from my recently purchased Canon XSI, ie: Windows does not recognize the USB cord from my camera to a port in my pc. I can't download my photos onto the computer from my samsung l310w camera. the memory card is sandisk SDHD card 8gb. the camera doesn't seem to be compatible with the card for some reason - when trying to flick through pictures it flashes and eventually says file error. the computer will pick up the photos initially then won't transfer them. my printer has a memory card slot and even that won't recognise the card anymore!

When I connect my camera to my computer, it appears to be empty. I have over 1000 photos on it which show on the camera screen, but the computer sees none.
