How do I stop shadows on my subjects faces when photographing outside
Force the flash to go off, this will get rid of any shadows on people. If it's bright outside, the flash won't fire automatically, you need to force it.

Need to take photos outside but it is overcast. I need to make sure the details of the subject is absolutely clear. What would be the best setting? I have an OptiE10 6MP. It takes great pictures outside in the sun but this is new ground for me.
Taking pictures with maximum level of details while it is overcast weather is much easier than in sunny weather, where you need to look for so-called "open shadow" to limit overexposure.\015\012\015\012Depending on your taste, the best possible ... Pentax Optio 30 Digital Camera
PHOTOGRAPHING WATCHES Hello, I collect Swatch watches (approx 300 now) and want to set up an online catalog with 2 shots of each watch, one of the complete watch and a close up of the watch face detailing the artistic designs and colours. I only have basic photographic skills and knowledge and have borrowed my friend's Nikon Coolpix L100 and a mini tripod. It is an automatic camera so I don't have a lot of control, but it has a x15 zoom lens, a macro mode and image stabilisation to combat

When shooting indoors with my 300d (base rebel digital),I have been encountering some light metering problems.I use the 430ex as an external flash. While shooting a subject in front of an external light source-(window, etc.), no matter how small of the frame area include the outside light source, the cameras light meter will invaribly expose the entire image based on the outside ambient light, causing the image to be grossly underexposed. Do you have an explanation/solution for this aggrivating
Set the metering mode to Partial Metering. This uses only 9% of the field of view, centered around the middle square in the viewfinder, as the subject area. If you still find it too bright, try changing the exposure compensation a couple of clicks. ... Canon Digital Cameras

My Fuji A210 has slowly stop functioning. It will display pictures but in the photo mode it will open the lens and then turn off. I found that if I apply an external voltage to the voltage jack on the outside of the camera and I increase the voltage from 3V to 3.6V this camera works great. Just as it did when new. It seems to me that something in the camera has increased in resistance to cause the internal logic to not function. [email protected]

Dropped Camera. Basically, the thing stopped working. DMC-FZ1 It was dropped from a tripod it landed Lens DOWN. So it kind of smashed into it maybe? But nothing on the outside seems to be actually broken. The lens is crooked, but thats all that seems to be wrong. Yet it won't turn on at all. Maybe if someone could suggest something? Perhaps maybe something needs to be fidgeted around inside? Or is it a better idea if I pay a professional? But whatever the case. Anyone who has any suggestions it
