Hi, I have an old Vivicam Digital camera 6150s and would like to install it onto my new laptop which has Windows 7. I have tried using the cd provided but its not compatible. I was needing a new flash for my sony a230 camera and I ordered a sony flash from accessorycircuit.com. Anyway to make a long story short, they were out of the flash I wanted and said that they had got the new Vivitar Pro 648 series flash in and that it was really good and would work with my camera. I carent get a memory card to work at all. Tried a 2gb and it comes up with ERROR and askes if i wanna format the card, so I formated the card, and it went to picture display screen, took a photo and it came up with ERROR again. I then tried a 4gb card and when I turned on the camera and it just displays vivitar logo permanently. Camera works fine with no memory card in. Vivitar 3750 model thanks for all your help.
These cards is too much for the cam can hold and would cause errors just like u said try 512mb memory card or even less should work good and then clean it up by downloading all on ur pc and re use it i use 128mb even for mine lol,hope that helped ty ... Vivitar ViviCam 3750 Digital Camera
