Vivitar 6330s taking pictures with blue line around subject
\015 I have a Vivitar vivicam 6330s - which has been a brilliant little camera. When I have used it recently it has started taking pictures with a blue line around the main subject, none of the settings have been changed but the blue line isn't appearing in the display screen only when you view the pictures! Any help would be greatly appreciated\015
The lens cap may be loose. Slightly loosen the cap, maybe even remove it SLOWLY.. over a table with a towel on top. Clean the lenses with a camera cleaning kit and reinstall the cap. Use the booklet that came with the camera. I have 3 cameras, as far back as the 1st Digital JVC 1.5 mp from '96 and I have ALL manuals and warranty papers for it. Hope you do, too. Be careful, take your time and do not Over tighten the lens cap. The circular Hold-Down cover over the outer lens.

Please can you advise me? The fault appeared without apparent reason, and is that when you take a photo, thin horizontal black lines appear, and when you transfer to the PC the lines are still there. The lines only appear after you have taken the picture - whilst you are viewing the subject through the viewfinder everything seems just fine. Many thanks for anything light you can throw on this, otherwise very happy with the camera. Tony
